By downloading, installing, or using Critterly, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

Description of Service

Critterly is a pet management application that allows you to track your pets' profiles, health records, reminders, and documents. The app stores all data locally on your device. Critterly also offers an optional AI Vet feature powered by OpenAI or Apple Intelligence to provide general information about pet health.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any data stored within the app. You are responsible for providing your own OpenAI API key if you choose to use the AI Vet feature with OpenAI. You agree to use the app in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Subscriptions and Payments

Critterly offers optional subscription plans (monthly, yearly, and lifetime) that unlock premium features. All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. Subscription management, billing, and refunds are handled according to Apple's terms and policies. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings.

AI Vet Disclaimer

The AI Vet feature is provided for informational purposes only and is NOT a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified veterinarian with any questions regarding your pet's health. Never disregard professional veterinary advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by the AI Vet feature. We are not responsible for any decisions made based on AI-generated content.

Intellectual Property

Critterly and all its content, features, and functionality are owned by the developer and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of the app.

Limitation of Liability

Critterly is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. We are not responsible for any data loss resulting from device failure, app deletion, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the app at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users or the app. Upon termination, your right to use the app will cease immediately.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the app and on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
